Dear loving sisters, teachers, parents and affectionate children
Christmas is celebrated every year on 25th of December, It is according to the Gregorian Calendar. Christmas is celebrated by Christians. To mark the Jesus Birth anniversary. We start our Christmas celebration with prayer, preparing crib, putting star, etc.
Christmas is a time of love. It is about the incarnation of God’s love. It is about the goodness and beauty of human life. God is Emmanuel – means God is with us. He is Jesus – the son of Mother Mary – Son of God. Love prompts him to be part and parcel of our lives.
Christmas is a time of hope. There was no room for the holy family to stay in the Inn Bethlehem. Therefore Jesus was born in a Manger in Bethlehem. So He knows what it means over pain, over suffering, over worries, and anxieties.
He walks with us encouraging us, strengthening us, supporting us in difficulties. He promises his presence that we are never alone. Yes, Jesus is our beacon of hope and hope is reborn today in our hearts.
Christmas is a time of grace. There is more to Christmas than Christmas tree, gifts, candles, starts, sweets santa clause, etc. it is about compassion, tenderness, and kindness. During this pandemic we got to see the best in human the selfless service, sacrifice of life, noble service of health workers on the line of duty. We have seen and heard about real people raising to the occasion to prove their mettle. Amazing grace indeed.
The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of giving. Let this Christmas be a unique one for you and for me. Let us be a sign of love, hope and grace. Let us live in the spirit of Christmas. I wish you all a joyous Christmas and a prosperous new year 2021.
